UPLAC Bi-monthly Meeting: Mr. Md. Amir Hossain Secretary of Dhamsona union under Savar Upazila, Dhaka on the held 10.01.2022 said that The Union Legal Aid Committee and its members are far more important than the other committees and members. According to the Gazette of the Legal Aid Act 2000 of the Government of Bangladesh, this committee has been formed as Union level, Upazila level and District level. These committee members must work at the grassroots level to make every effort to provide legal assistance to those who are coming to the union parished.
Courtyard meeting: Ms. Sumaiya Akter, Gangutia union under Dhamrai Upazila and held on the date 08.01.2022 said, "I came to this meeting today and learned that the government has enacted laws to serve poor people in the village." If I didn't come to the meeting I wouldn't know. So I would say it would be better if you have more meetings with the people.
